This is the lump of "Volume of Lives - since 2003". Each collaborator keeps a piece in his/her whole life.
In a long times future, at the end of collaborator's life, please return a piece of stone to the Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art. The piece of stone will be put the right place on the base stone exactly.
Ultimately, this project will be finish and complete the final shape of the stone of "Volume of Lives - whole life 2" long times future. Although we can't see the final shape, we will leave a sculpture to be condensed our lives for our descendants.
